Post Deer processors in the state!!!
I got an idea!! I know I have started hunting some new areas and others may have as well. Not to mention the new hunters that have joined the ranks here. Can we compile a list of processors in the state that you either currently use or have used in the past that are worth the money and time.

Name of processor
Address
Phone number

I know this will probably help me as well as others out!!

Not sure the name of the place but owner's name is Harry. His place is in downtown Seneca. Charges $40 per deer for standard cuts, Burger and sausage. Summer sausage and all other specialties are more. He is the cleanest and cheapest I've seen. Good turnaround time too.

I know we have more than this. Keep them coming. I plan to put all of them together on a spreadsheet and repost the spreadsheet. Hopefully get it organized by county.

I use the same one(Holcombe's) Pie uses.My wife is the determining factor on what processor I use,if she's happy with the way the meat is processed and wrapped,I'm happy with eating it. :D Mr. Holcombe runs a very clean processsing operation.

There is one in Union County on Hwy 49 just up from Hwy 56 but I can't remember the name. As soon as I find out I will let you know. Anyway they do alright. I wouldn't put it on the scale of "the best" but I would use them again. Their clean and reasonable.

from HWY 56 at Cross Anchor you go towards Union and it isn't far. Clearly the best around

I have heard mixed reviews about American Outdoorsman in Laurens. Both good and bad. I have never used them myself, because of that, so I can't speak from experience.

Tracy's Deer Processing
3018 Oswego Highway
Sumter, SC 29153

Always had great experiences with them.

There is one called Peachtree, I think, over by Shaw Airforce Base. Never used it but have heard great reviews. A little farther than I usually drive, but am going to try one day. I heard they vaccum seal the meat.

+1 on Holcombe's. He's done a few deer for me and they've always turned out great. He caped one out for me too and did an excellent job.
